What is cryptocurrency
Cryptocurrency is peer-to-peer digital cash. It allows us as a community to directly value the local work that we’re doing and use cryptocurrency to award each other for that value creation.
Why does Bloom use cryptocurrency?
- To fund the work that isn’t being funded
- To more easily fund on-the-ground community-based impact work across international borders
- Inexpensive compared to legacy system, reduces overall costs
- To give you a way to get started with systems that can be confusing and difficult to engage with
