Our Financial Goals
Bloom Network is raising $100M over the next 5–7 years to accelerate community-led climate adaptation and systems transformation worldwide, empowering local communities to lead regenerative change at scale.
Building on $320,000 raised to date and over two decades of grassroots organizing, we're now seeking major philanthropic partnerships to expand our proven models across regions and grow a global movement for regenerative living.
Our impact scales with each major contribution toward this goal - from strengthening our existing network at $10M to achieving global systems transformation at $100M.
What This Funding Will Accomplish
Activate Global Food Systems Transformation
Deploy expert teams across 100+ Local Bloom chapters to strengthen regional food systems, build missing middle infrastructure, and expand institutional purchasing from local farmers, in ways that achieve climate adaptation.
Scale Proven Community Enterprises
Strengthen and expand successful Local Bloom Chapters that already demonstrate how regenerative businesses can thrive while serving community needs, modeling cooperative economic systems that circulate value within their regions.
Scale Watershed Restoration & Climate Adaptation
Implement community-led watershed repair, flood mitigation, and drought resilience projects across multiple bioregions - scaling proven models for climate adaptation rooted in local stewardship.
Amplify Solutions Through Strategic Marketing
Launch comprehensive marketing campaigns to make regenerative solutions visible and accessible across all sectors of society - accelerating climate adaptation by getting more people to know about, participate in, and support community-led transformation.
Why This Matters
Climate change, food insecurity, and economic inequality require solutions that move at the speed of community. In 40 communities across 14 countries, Local Bloom chapters are already demonstrating that place-based, cooperative approaches can achieve systems transformation - restoring watersheds, building local food systems, creating cooperative economies, and pioneering community-led governance.
We have the network, expertise, and proven models. With sustained investment, we can scale these proven models to hundreds more communities worldwide.

How Bloom is Funded
Bloom is supported by a mix of philanthropic contributions, grants, and earned revenue. Donations directly fund community-led climate adaptation projects and help grow the Bloom movement worldwide, while separate cooperative capital supports platform sustainability.

Bloom Network has raised a total of $320,000 since we began in 2008. This has supported:
- Local Bloom Chapters' work on the ground
- building our full-featured social network to promote and grow local direct climate action
- implementing the financial infrastructure to distribute funds to Local Bloom Chapters and the local participants in their actions
- the legal formation of a federated cooperative so the Local Hubs can co-own the social network infrastructure.
