Goals & Volunteer Expectations

Bloom's volunteer teams work together to support a growing global ecosystem of local hubs, entrepreneurs, artists, funders, and community builders committed to regenerative and equitable futures. Across Community, Design, Grants, Tech, Marketing, and Editorial, volunteers contribute their skills to strengthen relationships, steward shared resources, shape culture, build ethical infrastructure, and amplify courageous ideas. Together, we support the path-forging work of local Bloom chapters while co-creating the tools, stories, and systems needed to realize collective liberation at a local-to-global scale.

Volunteering with Bloom means joining a collaborative network of professionals and practitioners who care deeply about community wellbeing, creative expression, and real-world impact. It's an honor to invite you into this next transformational stage of Bloom Network's growth, built on over 16 years of local organizing and shared learning.

We aim to create a volunteer experience that is supportive, flexible, and meaningful—for both individuals and the wider network.

We recognize that volunteers are contributing professional-level skills and lived experience. We strive to honor that commitment with care, transparency, and meaningful participation.

This is a working document to create the Code of Conduct which sets the culture of Bloom Network for new members. This is for resourcing each other with dialogue tools and knowledge for building healthy communities.
